5 Ways to Improve Your Green Credentials

It’s safe to say that, these days, most people are aware of the impact they are making on the planet. We’re not saying that everyone can calculate their own Carbon Footprint down to the nth degree, but there is a wider understanding that we should be doing things to lessen our effect.

Many employees could potentially be living an eco-friendly life at home, but do they feel that your business is doing all it can to boost its Green credentials? 1. Clear Recycling Policy

You provide ample rubbish bins for your staff, but do you also use a recycling bin either at each desk, or in an accessible area? Sometimes we all sacrifice the environment for convenience, so why not invest in a few more clearly marked receptacles that are easy to use and empty?

2. Use Washable Cloths

3. Use a Daytime Cleaner

Does every bin in your office need a plastic liner? Most cleaning companies will add liners to your bins, but why not ask them to avoid that? Why not go further and ask your staff to be responsible for emptying and cleaning their own small bin, into a single, larger bin?

5. Use eco-friendly products
